Welcome to BosƎm Savannah Kittens

We have been producing some of the most beautiful and friendly cats and kittens since 2002 when our first Savannah kitten was born. All kittens come with a health guarantee and replacement policy in writing. We do not recommend early generation Savannahs for households with young children due to the simple fact that young Savannahs, like young children, can get rambunctious and playful and yet not know their size or potential until more mature. Savannahs are all simply house cats who eat, sleep play and use the litter box the same as any domestic cats.
Combining a graduate degree in the animal sciences and over 15 years of feline breeding experience, our program has the knowledge base required to produce the most striking Savannahs in existence. Understanding animal behavior within the breed also has a learning curve. We would be naive to claim that we know it all, but we have more experience on our side over any other Savannah breeder. No worries about whether your breeder will still be around to help with any issues that may arise with your Savannah as it matures and even enters its later years of life.
Savannahs are considered one of the larger breeds of domesticated cats. Their tall and slim build gives Savannahs the appearance of greater size than their actual weight. They are as tall as many breeds of domestic dogs. F1 hybird and F2 Savannahs are usually the largest, due to the stronger genetic influence of the African Serval forbear. Male Savannahs tend to be larger than females. On average, early generation Savannahs may weigh 10 to 25 lbs. Average size is also very dependent on generation and sex, with F1 male cats usually being the largest. Later generation Savannahs are usually between 8-17 lbs. Because of the random factors in Savannah hybrid genetics, there can be significant variation in size, even in one litter. Some breeders report Savannahs in excess of 30 pounds with at least one breeder claiming an over 40 pound males.
Please note that we do NOT allow casual visitors to our home. We only allow people who have a deposit on a kitten to visit and interact with our kittens and cats. We get a lot of requests from people who want to see our cats or kittens, but this is not possible unless you are purchasing or picking up a kitten.
